Sunil is a champion of inclusion and leverages his influence and platform as the Global Head of Securities Lending at Standard Chartered Bank to drive change. His mission is to demonstrate that no matter who you are that you support this “minority group” and it’s okay to be open and out in the workplace.

He writes thoughtful articles surrounding LGBT+ inclusion which are available to all employees and is a member of the LGBT+ Network. Externally, Sunil is setting up a foundation called Proud to Be Proud, supporting people to embrace their authentic selves and helping them overcome barriers to progression.

Sunil openly came out in the last 5 years at work, this was following coming out to friends and before that to family. Sunil uses his senior leadership platform at Standard Chartered to share his experiences in the correct way and in the correct forum and to allow people the option to be their authentic selves.
