Any current student at a university outside London: MBA, Masters, PhD or undergraduate. You need to still be a student when EUROUT runs in November 2026, so if you graduate before then, this one isn't for you. If you're on exchange, see below.
Where you'll be based in November 2026 is what counts, not where you're enrolled. If your home school is in London but you're on exchange elsewhere and travelling in, apply. If you're enrolled outside London but on exchange in London during the conference, the fund isn't for you, so have a look at the partner school discount or the FLII tickets instead.
This fund is for students travelling in from outside London. LBS students based in London in need of support are covered by the FLII tickets.
No, the fund covers your ticket and nothing else

Yes. Applications are read by the EUROUT team only, and we don't share your name or your school with anyone. If we ever want to quote something you've written, in a report to the people who fund the scheme for example, we'll ask you first.
Tell us as soon as you know at eurout@london.edu so we can pass the ticket to someone else. Codes and tickets can't be transferred to another person directly.
The fund is established in the memory of Peter Johnson. He was a LBS staff member who founded the original LGBTQ+ network at LBS back in the 1990s, and was an active supporter of Out in Business.
Peter came out in 1974 as an undergraduate at the School of Oriental and African Studies and has been an activist ever since, across a range of LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS organisations. He co-founded the LGBTQ+ network at LBS in 1996, sponsored Out in Business and co-chaired PROUD@LBS, the School's LGBTQ+ and allies staff network. As Senior Admissions Manager for the Masters in Finance he championed outreach to LGBTQ+ candidates, the Reaching Out scholarship programme, and the option for applicants to self-identify. He retired in 2022 and sits on the EUROUT Advisory Board.
