This panel will address the ever-widening chasm between queer—especially trans—employees and their sense of belonging at the workplace. The foundation of our discussion will be the findings of a recent global survey of 2,230 TGNC (transgender and gender nonconforming) employees by BCG. The panel will aim to give conference attendees practical insights into what separates an inclusive workplace from one that is not; how they can learn to identify a workplace that values psychological safety; what lacunae may exist in how companies engender inclusiveness as part of their cultural fabric; and how these gaps may be filled.
