Marion is an accomplished senior leader, public speaker and media contributor with over 17 years’ experience in the financial industry working across multiple countries.

Internally within State Street, Marion sits on the Steering Committee of the UK Pride Network, providing thought leadership, raising staff awareness on LGBTQ+ issues, and supporting colleagues and senior management on a global basis.

Externally, Marion chairs InterBank, the network of LGBTQ+ networks for financial services and professional services firms in the UK, leading some of the network’s initiatives across 45 member firms with an emphasis on gender and ethnic minority inclusion. She is also the founder of Women of InterBank, having created an industry network to provide LGBTQ+ women with dedicated events and networking opportunities.

As a role model, Marion regularly appears on panels with a view to be visible, raise awareness around the specific issues facing LGBTQ+ women and share best practices. Under her leadership, the representation of women has grown within InterBank with a third of the committee now identifying as women.
