Lithemba Velleman is Senior In-House Legal Counsel: Business Finance at Aldermore Bank. He has previously been legal counsel at large international investment banks supporting Global Markets and Trade Finance businesses. He has also been a Senior Associate at some of the top law firms in the world with first class transactional experience in Leveraged, Corporate and Project Finance.

In addition to his illustrious career in law, Lithemba is a fashion critic and is especially interested in African Fashion. He has been a fashion editor at Glam Africa, a fashion magazine published in the UK, where he has contributed the fashion content, including reviews, profiles of designers, and coverage of the Fashion Weeks in London, Paris, and Milan. Glam Africa is distributed the UK as well as in Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa.

Lithemba's writing has also been published in Nataal, a media brand celebrating contemporary African fashion, visual arts, music, travel, and society.Lithemba has an LLB with a special focus on Commercial Law from the University of Witwatersrand and an LLM in International Finance from the University of Pittsburgh where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
