Kelvin Chen is a Program & Strategy Manager at Deliveroo and is part of the leadership team within the central London region, focusing on driving consumer engagement and demand. He has experience in consumer strategy, regional growth and operations management within the technology and hospitality sectors. Outside of the day job, Kelvin is currently Global Co-Lead of Deliveroo's LGBTQ+ employee network (aka Deloveroo), representing LGBTQ+ Deliveroo employees across all markets. Under his leadership, Deloveroo built out its network of LGBTQ+ owned restaurants, expanded its 'School for Allies' website to drive awareness of LGBTQ+ issues amongst allies, pushed for inclusive policies internally and organised numerous community-building events, including 2 speaker panels for Anti-Bullying Week and Lesbian Visibility Week. Kelvin was 'highly commended' at the Rainbow Honours earlier this year in the 'Outstanding Network Lead of the Year' category, with Deloveroo also being shortlisted for 'Outstanding LGBTQIA Network of the Year' at the Rainbow Honours and DIVA Awards this year. Originally from Singapore, Kelvin studied Law at the University of Bristol, where he was also President of the LGBTQ+ Society.
